Interview
It starts by submitting exercises completed in Word and Excel. After submitting those I was emailed the following week to set up a phone interview. The interview seemed alright. It was pretty standard (tell me about yourself, why finance,...). I was asked if I was fine working long hours during filing season. The stated pay was very low. I'm not sure if they think the experience is worth what you're making, or if they're taking advantage of the job market for college grads(especially those who were finance majors).

After submitting an application, I received a follow-up email asking me to complete some financial problems using Excel. Also included in the email were some basic files about the company.

One of the Excel problems was to perform a DCF analysis.
The interview was mix of behavior and finance questions, such as why New Constructs and describe your previous experience. Overall a pretty smooth process. Also, there is Excel and finance exercises including DCF modeling.

Excel Finance screen, phone interviews, on-site interview. If you're interested in finance and equity research it should be relatively straightforward. The company is very small so keep in mind if it is the right fit. Overall, they're doing some interesting things in financial research.
