New London Public Schools interview questions

I was brought into a room with an administrator, a lead teacher and a parent. I was asked several questions as well as given scenarios and asked to answer how I would handle there situations. In one instances a student was brought in and I had a discussion about class and work assignments. It was a straight forward interview.

The interview process was short, unexpected, and most definitely not the position that was advertised for. They advertised the position as a Physical Education Teacher and at the beginning of the interview, stated that position was teaching four different athletic training and health science courses. The job description even said you did not have to have your teaching certification yet in the interview they said I did. Why did you give me an interview if you didn't read my resume? The whole process was ridiculous. 10 questions, 2 minutes to answer each one. Oh and they said that they didn't want you to use examples from your resume because they can read it themselves. So what am I suppose to talk about? Clearly they had their candidate picked out already and needed to go through the interview process for proof. It really was a shame.
