I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at New Wave Entertainment
Interview
Pretty standard in person interview with the hiring manager and HR person in the room at the same time. Hiring manager was laid back and asked questions conversational questions, the HR person asked standard interview questions.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at New Wave Entertainment (Burbank, CA) in Nov 2017
Interview
I applied online after finding the job ad on EntertainmentCareers.net, the prior HR Coordinator that was leaving the company did the phone screen and coordinated the first and second interview with the HR Manager Ms. Fuentes. Received an email a few days later to set up a phone interview. 2 days after the phone interview, I got an email to set up an in-person interview the following week. It went well there weren't too many generic questions, it was more of a casual conversation as well as how do you react to bosses going into your office to yell at you for something you were not at fault at. I thought that was weird but answered it anyways. 3 days later they emailed me to set up a second interview the following week where you meet the Director of Finance and the COO. They asked if I would be comfortable also managing social media pages for the company so that was cool they disclosed adding more responsibilities. It went well and the HR Manager asked for references and I emailed them to her the next day. After that I was ghosted and never heard back from any of them ever again so that was a little weird and discouraging.
