The interview process was fast and smooth. The interviewers were willing to listen to your thoughts without judgment. Everyone was friendly and positive, and they were open to sharing honest insights about the company, directly addressing what you wanted to know rather than diverting the conversation elsewhere.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at NewPower Worldwide (Bengaluru)
Interview
A Highly Unprofessional and Misleading Experience
This was easily the worst interview process I have ever encountered. The company reached out via LinkedIn, and I proceeded to a second round to meet Naveen at the Bengaluru office. He spoke at length about the role and explicitly informed me that I was an ideal fit for the job.
However, the physical reality of the office was shocking. The workspace is a tiny, cramped setup that barely accommodates 3–4 people. The hygiene standards are unacceptable, with only one dirty washroom shared by both men and women. Furthermore, there are zero employee benefits—no PF, no transportation, and no food or snacks. There wasn't even basic coffee available.
To top it off, after such deep-dive discussions, they sent a generic rejection email without any feedback or professional courtesy. The disconnect between their "global" pitch and this substandard, unprofessional environment is a major red flag. It feels less like a corporate office and more like a fraudulent setup. I am honestly relieved I did not join such a company, and I would advise all senior professionals to stay far away from this "haunted shop."
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at NewPower Worldwide (Singapore) in Dec 2023
Interview
3 times interview with different person. 1st is HR through Microsoft Teams. 2nd with one of the team manager. And in the end 3rd interview with their VP.
First 2 are smooth. 3rd interview didn't go through. Interview process very direct.
