I applied online. I interviewed at NewWave Telecom & Technologies
Interview
The interviewer sent me a link to a meeting and I sat there for about ten minutes while nobody showed up. I had to send an email to get a link that actually worked. I immediately got the impression that it was an interview assembly line by how rushed it was.
I am not sure why they advertise it as a data analyst position because I was informed that all you do is sit at a laptop and do repetitive work deleting stuff from data sets (yet they still want proficiency in analytic software?). In fact, I don't think the interviewer was even sure what the position was because they were unable to answer any questions I had regarding most of the data-related technical details. If I understood what they were describing correctly, it was a data entry job falsely advertised as an analytic one.
It was unclear exactly what they were looking for because I was told my application was fine, but that they have plenty of options given that there were over 1000 applicants. Why was that necessary to say? I was then told by the interviewer that they used to be a "career coach" and was given a unsolicited pep talk about finding a job. I have no idea what that was but I am glad it's over. For the sake of the person who gets that job, I hope it isn't indicative of the overall culture.
I applied through university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at NewWave Telecom & Technologies (Mysore) in Mar 2022
Interview
The interview process included a mix of aptitude testing, coding assessments, technical discussions, and problem-solving questions. The question about the angle between the clock hands at 3:20 is a classic problem used to evaluate analytical and mathematical reasoning skills.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NewWave Telecom & Technologies (San Jose, CA) in Mar 2022
Interview
Two virtual panel interviews. I talked with multiple members of the team I would be working with and it went well. After a long wait from the final interview, I got a call that essentially said, "You're an amazing fit, we would like to offer you the position but it doesn't exist anymore due to some internal restructuring. Sorry."
