The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Next Jump (Cambridge, MA) in Feb 2011
Interview
I went to Super Saturday where for one day a bunch of candidates take tests, make pitches, listen to presentations, etc. NextJump has everything in place to be a great environment to work in. All the standard perks and then some: food, in-house gym facility, laundry service, etc. The big question left unanswered is the atmosphere. How are the people? The signals I got on this were mixed. Most of the employees (especially the programmers) seemed unenthusiastic and aloof. A few were more excited. That coupled with the numerous bad reviews on glassdoor should make one very wary... Could be a great place to work or an awful one that's posing as an awesome one (which I would say is far worse). Hard to say from my limited perspective and things could change for better or worse at any time.

Question 1
Describe a time in your life where you were in a disadvantaged position.
Super Saturday. It's an intense day where you work in a group of 4 to 5 people, trying to show your team work and leadership capabilities. The assessor will be around you all day, analysing everything you do.
Applied through a campus career fair. Received a HackerRank prescreen. Then there was a 30 minutes phone call that is purely behavioral. I can see the interviewer really wanted to know me as a person (asking for examples outside working experience and school work to support my questions.)

Question 1
Tell me about one good thing and one bad thing that your friends might comment about you,
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Next Jump (London, England) in Mar 2020
Interview
Technical questions weren't too hard, it was a lot more on the holistic side. The company believes interest is more important than raw competence, and the interview reflects that.
The first stage is a phone screen by the lead software engineer. This is followed up by a technical test writing a simple webapp with html and PHP, and finally people who pass that are sent to the full day assessment center, which consists of group interviews, technical tests and a individual panel.
