I had a 30-minute virtual meeting with the VP, Head of Recording & QM LoB. She seemed unfocused during the interview and frequently looked off to the sides. She didn’t begin with even a brief overview of the role or the company. While I understand the time constraints of a 30-minute interview, it still felt unusual.
She moved quickly through a series of questions without asking any follow-ups to my answers. At one point, she asked how I would manage in a corporate environment. Given that I have over 20 years of experience, including more than 10 years at global corporations significantly larger than Nice, this was surprising and suggested she may not have reviewed my CV in advance.
Overall, it felt like the interview was set up to fail before it even began. I’m relieved I discovered this during the process rather than after joining Nice.
Definitely not Nice.
