The interview process progressed very quickly. It began with an initial interview with the recruiter, who did a phenomenal job throughout the entire process. A second phone interview with a director, a third phone interview with an engineer, and a fourth phone interview with the HR department followed this. Finally, I had an in-person interview with a small group, which included the VP, in a conference room. During this interview, I was required to give a presentation and solve an open-ended problem, for which I created a custom solution. Although I set aside time for an in-person meeting, I was not shown around the facility. Despite being a senior-level, highly skilled, and qualified designer with a diverse background, I ultimately did not receive an offer. I can only assume they did not believe I was a cultural fit or thought I would get bored; however, I was never informed of the specific reasons.
