I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NielsenIQ in Jun 2025
Interview
DISREPECTFUL.
Three step process
1.) Phone call w/ recruiter (very simple)
2.) Zoom w/ hiring manager (simple and straight forward)
3.) Case study that requires analysis of Pet Food Market that you then present to a panel and field questions
Process took over a month. I was cut-off from finishing my report in the final round interview by the manager despite it taking multiple hours to complete. They interrupted w/ questions that would've been answered toward the end of the slide deck that I wasn't able to present. Very little guidance on what they are looking for in the case study. If you don't live near the area you're applying, it's probably a disadvantage. Ghosted for a week after final interview then sent a no-reply email saying they've moved on. Recruiter was friendly. Not that I would've been offered employment had I finished my presentation, but I feel that at the very least I was due the respect to present my entire case and get a more personable rejection. Job seemed pretty good overall, pay was very low. Good luck.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me a time when you used python to analyze data.
The interview was arranged though a software with pre-set questions. Quite alienating way of interviewing as you don’t meet anyone but just talk to a screen. They asked general questions
