My worst job interview experience so far. Total 4 rounds, first is HR - nothing out of ordinary. Second is with Engineering manager - he mainly looking for the answer that he expecting. If a bit out of his expectation, he will think that it's wrong. Some of the stuffs he said is wrong as well (I know because I had made extensive research on those areas from my previous job). Third round is with CTO and he was quite okay. He seems to be quite experienced and knowledgable. But be prepared for knowledge questions rather than fundamentals (mostly you know this framework, that framework, as typical startups). Next round was with VP, he was the most arrogant person that I have ever met. I have been to a lot of interviews before. Even top-notch companies' VPs are not half as bad as him. Mainly asking simple questions but because of his attitudes and the way he asked, I feel like he was testing my patient. I tried to stay calm as much as possible and tried to smile at him. HR rejected me two days later. I was also thinking of declining even if they make the offer. I definitely cannot work under those horrible people.
