No surprises, really.

Update: Sofia, in answer to your question, it was exactly as people put on here. I received a "Thank you for applying" email a few days later. If they do not fingerprint you and do a one on one right away, keep looking. The good new is that you can e-mail talent services (talent.services@aa.com) and request feedback on your group interview. They are very helpful. Since then, I have been accepted to another airline and will begin PAID training this April, which American does not pay for training. I hope this helps!

Congrats for accepted at the other airlines. I wish the recruiter at AA did not tease you like that. Giving you false hope. Maybe she was just being hopeful herself...

Hello. I would like to know if you ever received an invitation to be fingerprinted after you left. Pretty much the overwhelming result for others has been that if you are not fingerprinted after your f2f your journey ends that day. Of course, maybe there were special circumstances that day as you mentioned about the weather. So I really would love to hear if you received the news you expected in your follow up email. Good luck and thanks for sharing your experience.
