I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Noom (Raleigh, NC) in Mar 2022
Interview
The process was very very lengthy. Working with a recruiter they were up front but by final stages it was getting tedious. The prompt they had was innovative, but they were not forthright about their process on turning a candidate down. Just because you sit through 8 hours of interviews and do 6+ hours of prep for a case interview doesn’t guarantee a job, but giving no feedback whatsoever and no explanation doesn’t do right by the candidate sacrificing their valuable time. Most people were nice and enough but expect half of the interviews just to be shuffling you to the next one as their are so many steps.

Question 1
How would you change the recipes page of the app? What process would you undertake to think about the placement of this feature and what data would you have to support this decision?
Very thorough, very well done. The interviewer had datasets ready to back up situational questions. This led to a very productive conversation, even though it didn't go my way, unfortunately.

How would you determine whether or not one of the changes that you made was the reason for an increase in customer purchases?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Noom
Interview
A recruiter contacted me after having looked at my LinkedIn profile and setup a call stating that they were interested in my profile. After matching our schedules we finally met and spoke for about 30 mins. He asked for my resume, which I said was identical to my LinkedIn profile, but still sent it.
He got back two days later that the team was not interested. I mean it is totally okay for them to look elsewhere, but the process did not seem professional. I wish they had contacted me after the team had a chance to see the profile. Perhaps they are still in a startup mode.
