A very smooth Interview process. Friendly HR team and got good and honest feedback after the interview. They only had one position open and took a while to tell me that I wasn't selected for the final round, but the HR patiently replied to every follow-up.

Mostly asked about my projects and how I implemented them.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Normalyze
Interview
I applied on linkedin and got the meeting link. In the email it had a link to schedule a meeting and some information about company. I scheduled the meeting expecting this would be first meeting to understand the company, job profile and compensation to my surprise it turns out to be technical round. I asked the hiring person about the role and job reposibilities and he answered that part but he switched to the technical question on storage. I answered his question but seems like he don't had any real time troubleshooting experience in storage appliance so the question was not making any sense. When i raise the point that in the email it wasn't mentioned today is going to be the technical round. I would like to get more clarity on role especially on compensation otherwise at the end it would be a waste of time for both me and him. He became rude and suggested i am not fit for the position, I also suggested that we can reschedule the technical round once i have a some calrity on compensation and benefit. He said i am unfit for the positions. I think he don't know how hiring generally works in INDIA. It looks like they are trying to build team in INDIA but have chosen the wrong individual to lead that inatitive. I would recommend to Company leadership team to have look into it. You can't be rude and hope to hire an engineer.
Interview taking is a skill not everyone have it.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Normalyze (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
I had to meet with the heads of each department, 30 minutes to an hour each. Then a final panel interview, which is a presentation. Essentially they give you some guidance to present on a topic you know well (know your audience and what you are applying for when picking your topic), then you present to the people that interviewed you along the way.
