I completed a screening interview on a Tuesday and was immediately asked to come in for an in-person interview either that same day or the next. After agreeing to Wednesday, I was later told that all slots were already booked and that I’d be contacted again—yet no follow-up came.
When I reached out, I was told the HR representative was out sick and to contact a backup. The backup responded on Thursday then scheduled me for an interview that same day (Thursday), forcing me to rush and rearrange my schedule last minute. I RAN there!
The entire experience felt chaotic and inconsiderate. It’s difficult for candidates to perform at their best under those conditions. If there isn’t genuine interest in a candidate after the screening or someone is already chosen, it’s better not to move forward than to waste their time with such a disorganized process.
