I was called in July and asked to come in to interview with a group of about 7 people. Over the next two months I had two more interviews. The second interview was 3 hours long and with 3 different sets of people, a total of 22 were invited to be a part of the interview, but I believe there were less available on that day. The last interview was 1-on-1 with the person I would be working most closely with. The time for each interview dictated to me, with no real feeling of flexibility and because I wanted to take full advantage of the opportunity, I even took PTO at my current role to accommodate 3 interviews over 2 months. In-between each interview I waited approximately two weeks. About 2 weeks after the last interview, the status of my application was changed to "position filled" and this is how I found out I was not chosen for the position. No one ever reached out to me or thanked me for my time and efforts. I was very excited about being a front-runner for this position, but ultimately had a bad experience due to how the process ended and generally feeling like my time was very disrespected.
