The interview process was a group type interview. I am generally communicative and able to engage very effectively. However, only certain individuals present were offered opportunities to make any sort of impression whatsoever. It was clear that, apparently based on a visual alone, only certain individuals present were going to be addressed, offered opportunity to speak at any length, asked direct questions or called upon to respond. I was not even offered the courtesy of a good bye or 'thanks for coming in today' as I left. My instinctual feeling about this encounter is that you were summed up visually upon entering, and if you did not look 'right' then no further time or consideration was afforded to you. I was personally very offended. Realizing that in an interview situation, I'm there to prove myself and to make an impression, there is a responsibility on those doing the interviews and the hiring to conduct themselves professionally and courteously. Those involved in this particular case failed miserably.
