This job involved external communications with university donors, basically pr to communicate university news in a way that will encourage donations. Although the job requirements are pretty high, masters degree, several years experience, the job itself seemed to be pretty routine. They tell you the pay scale early in the interview process, which is very unusual, but the reason is that the pay is well below what you would expect to get given the qualifications they ask for. It only makes financial sense if you want to take advantage of their free employee tuition benefit, even that is questionable. I took myself out of the running pretty quickly.
