I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Novacoast (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2015
Interview
I applied to novacoast through my university job portal and I was called for an on-campus interview. The interviewer was very nice and the entire interview went smoothly. He asked me a bit about myself and my projects. Then he gave me a sheet of paper which had few questions that I was asked to answer. The questions were basic questions on linux, networking, math, finding what the code does, etc. They had just one position for some hardware role, which is probably the reason why I didn't get a reply back from them because the interviewer seemed really impressed and I had a great time.

Interview
They hosted a company talk at our university and I went to listen. I asked them a few questions during the talk and also talked to them afterward. Later that week I got a phone call and an interview scheduled and went in for an interview a few days later.

Interview
Given a list of questions, and answered them aloud, demonstrating thought process. Some questions were a bit difficult, but ultimately, fairly straightforward. Interviewer helped through some questions, but generally allowed me to come to a solution myself. Interview was very friendly, and after the technical part of the interview, we talked about various other things, which really reinforced the friendly atmosphere of the company.

Interview
I was notified by the project manager about a week or two after applying. The interview took 30 minutes, most of the questions being behavioral and others being about the style of work at Novacoast.
