Very Hectic. EXTREMELY unprofessional. I was not offered a position due to my availability. I was not informed that hiring preference was given to immediate hire. Disappointed, I sent a cordial email thanking them for their time and suggesting that the preference for immediate hire be made clear so that future candidates are aware. I was concerned with how they may respond, so I even checked my email with chatGPT who told me that any reasonable person would be grateful for my email and would not be offended in any way. I later found out that I was being gossiped about, and random employees were being told by HR that I had been disrespectful and rude. Even if that were true, I think it is unprofessional of them to respond with gossip.
