I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Novata (New York, NY) in Nov 2025
Interview
Pretty standard—was through a recruiter who did initial phone screen. Then first real interview was with Head of CS, then CRO, then a tandem interview with a fellow CSM and Onboarder. Moved pretty quickly.

Describe how you’ve handled a client wanting you to go above and beyond
I applied online. I interviewed at Novata (London, England) in Mar 2026
Interview
I had a lovely interview process. First stage was interview with the hiring manager (who was the Executive Assistant), answering questions about my past relevant work experience and what I could bring to this role. It felt more like a conversation which is always great with interviews! The interviewer made me feel calm and shared a lot of insight into the role, the team and the company which was so helpful! Ultimately I decided to withdraw my application but if a role opens up that is more in line with what I am looking for, I would 100% go for it again, seems like a really lovely team in the London office.
I was told the second interview would be with the Head of HR and then a final interview with one of the senior leaders in the team - so 3 rounds in total.

Question 1
Tell me about your past experience? Why are you leaving your current role? What do you like about your role/this role? What do you dislike about your role?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Novata
Interview
Standard. Recruiter -> Director -> Likely more steps (maybe one or two more?)
I made it to the director stage, and, candidly, this was a very unprofessional interview. The guy was a few minutes late, and he seemed extremely disinterested in everything I was saying. I'm not even sure he heard me about 40% of the time, because his Wi-Fi kept cutting in and out. My answers definitely reflected his energy. I felt disinterest just from personality alone, so my answers seemed nervous. I'm not surprised I was rejected off shaky answers alone, but it definitely stemmed from the vibe curated by the director alone.
By the end of the interview, he was late to another meeting (elite time management), and he was laughing and reading Slack messages while I was actively talking to him and asking him questions. Bearing in mind, this was the time I needed since he was 5 minutes late originally. He wasn't making eye contact and just giggling at some coworker's messages.
Very rude and unprofessional. I was extremely interested in the company, but this is unacceptable behavior from a director.
