I applied online. I interviewed at Nuffield Health (Swindon, Wiltshire, South West England, England) in May 2024
Interview
I originally received a call from the hiring manager asking to come in for an informal chat and to have a look at the facilities before being invited to an actual interview. Questions were bizarre, including who I live with at home, what job my partner does and if they would be okay with me working long hours including being called in to work last minute due to staff sickness. Seems very toxic workplace culture and throughout the interview other people who applied for the role internally were being complimented, when asked why then don't they recruit internally I was advised that it's nice to compare to what external candidates could bring to the role. My enthusiasm dropped through the interview so as expected I received the rejection e-mail.
