      Analyst Interview

      18 Apr 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at OSF HealthCare

      Interview

I applied online and then a few days later, had a phone interview with the recruiter asking me general questions and telling me a little about the position, and the phone interview went well. The next day, the hiring manager calls me to schedule an onsite interview. So I have the onsite interview the next week with the hiring manager and the director of the department. At the end of the interview, I am told by the director that they are getting ready to go on vacation, so it will be a few weeks before a decision is made. Huh? Why would you interview candidates for a position before you go on a two week vacation? By the time you get back, the details of each interview aren't going to be as fresh in your mind by that point. I ended up waiting 3 weeks just to be told that they decided to go with an internal candidate, which was probably their plan all along. Big waste of time.
