I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Oak River Property Management (Austin, TX) in Jan 2014
Interview
Two interview stage process. The first interview was with two managers in the department and the second interview was with the controller. Interview was professional but also comfortable and straightforward. They asked good questions and also allowed questions about the company that were pretty well answered.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Oak River Property Management (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA)
Interview
I had an interview with this company's Rancho Santa Margarita home owner's association office (SAMLARC). It was, hands down, the most unprofessional interview I have ever experienced. They had me complete a writing test in their break room, where people were preparing meals and eating their lunches. Then, I expected to meet with the head of the department (which is what I was told when her assistant set up my interview time), but instead was interviewed by three people, two of whom didn't even know what the job entailed. They were very rude to me and scolded just about every one of my responses to their questions. Then they made fun of my qualifications and asked why I would even want to work in their office, making me wonder why I was asked to come in for an interview in the first place. Unsurprisingly, I didn't hear from them again until I received a rejection letter in the mail about a month later. I've never been so happy to not get a job! They were completely unprofessional and it was an all around awful job search experience, not to mention a waste of my time.
