I applied online. I interviewed at Obie (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2021
Interview
There was one phone screen with the CEO. Then another one with one of the designers and one of the engineers who asked basic technical questions. After that, I was told there would be a take-home challenge we would review the take-home challenge together. They may ask me to make changes to it on the spot. After that, there could be one more cultural interview and an offer.
Bad experience overall. Went through multiple rounds. Seemed like it was going well. Only to get a very vague and distasteful email of basically "we're going to wait for someone else" with no reason or constructive criticism given. I asked if there was a reason and got ghosted. Basically just a big waste of my time. Wouldn't recommend them.
