Interview
Be prepared for a lengthy process. My interview took 6.5 hours in total:
30-minute recruiter screen
30-minute hiring manager call
Three 30-minute IC calls
3-hour presentation preparation (take-home)
30-minute SQL coding assessment
30-minute presentation
Despite the massive time investment preparing a presentation and completing a live SQL assessment, the feedback I received showed they are confused about what they want. They are looking for a PM with deep, hands-on SQL skills who also operates at a broad, portfolio-level strategic scope. Those two skill sets are often at odds.

Question 1
They asked me to write pseudo SQL code on a Google Doc while the hiring manager and assessor watched. Make sure you’re ready to code Statements, Functions and Window Functions.

Interview
First conversation was with a recruiter going over the role and potential fit. That was followed by a conversation with the hiring manager, then three 1:1 interviews, and the process was completed with a case study panel interview.
