      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Omnicare

      Interview

I applied online and they called me about a month later. During the call they briefly went over the job positions that were currently available and their duties. They asked about my previous experience and which position I was most interested in. At the end, they set up a time and date for the in-person interview. The in-person interview lasted about 15-20 minutes long. They asked about my previous experience and what my duties were. They asked if i knew about what omnicare does and then explained to me about omnicare - closed door pharmacy ; deliveries to snf and alfs , etc. They were very straightforward with what one would expect working at omnicare - such as possible overtime and frequent performance evaluations and asked how i felt about it.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Omnicare (Lodi, CA) in Jan 2015

      Interview

The first one was a phone interview, followed by 2 onsite interviews. The whole interview process took about 4 months due to a hiring freeze at the time. Then I had to wait a few weeks for my drug test results and background check to come back. I previously did my pharmacy externship here so I believe that helped my chances as well.

      Interview

When I applied for the job, the website it was on said the degree requirements were a high school diploma/GED. A few days after applying I received an email asking me to set up a phone interview. A rep called the same day to do an interview. She gave me a description of the job and hours and told me she would forward my resume to the hiring manager at our local pharmacy. I was told I would know by the end of the week, and that if chosen for the position another interview would take place next week. I heard the next day and was asked if I could come in for an interview that day. Upon arrival, I waited in the lobby for awhile before I was brought back. I could tell by the tone of the interviewers voice and statements like "what we really want is pharmacy experience" and "we have other interviews lined up and are hoping that one of them has more experience". He spoke to me like he doubted my ability to perform routine tasks and made repeated statements like "well it's a lot to learn", and even with my reassurance I still felt like the decision had already been made. Their description of the hours and days worked was far different than the description given to me by the person who did my phone interview, too! Seemed like no one was on the same page.
