I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at On the Beach (Manchester, England) in Jan 2026
Interview
Great interview process, the team were really slick with organising the calls and also very understanding when I needed to be flexible. Everyone I spoke to was really professional and kind, and I genuinely enjoyed the conversations we had. The technical round was good, I was sent the exercise upfront and then talked through the solution in a call with an architect and Head Of Engineering.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at On the Beach (Manchester, England) in Aug 2025
Interview
The interview consisted of 3 remote rounds and an in-person office tour. The first was a technical interview conducted by members of the Platform Engineering team, followed by behavioural and final interviews with Directors of Engineering. Whilst the questions were searching and challenging, the interviewers made me feel at ease, which helped me to feel relaxed and perform well.
