I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Ontic (Raleigh, NC) in Jan 2022
Interview
Recruiter reached out to me saying they would call me but never called for the phone screen then sent me an interview request 2 weeks later saying the hiring manager wanted to interview with me. At that point I was already uninterested due to how unorganized it was but decided to just do it .As soon as I got on the video call I could tell by the way the hiring manager looked at me he was not interested. Literally looking down the whole time during the call . I don’t know. Maybe I didn’t fit the demographic needed hmm. Asked one question then told me they didn’t wanna waste my time and was looking for someone with a very specific background and experience so in that case why even schedule the interview in the first place. As hiring managers do you not review the resumes prior to scheduling interviews? Fix your recruiting system because it took forever and why waste peoples time just to say your looking for something specific during the interview when you read my resume and the job description literally never said they were specifically looking for that experience . It was just off putting that it lasted literally 5 mins and 1 question and an instant rejection that’s why it seemed like a demographic issue. you should Reject a non compatible resume as soon as you get the application. Do better

Question 1
Tell me a little bit more about your work history.
Hi!
Thanks for taking the time to write a review! I think you might have accidentally posted on the wrong Ontic profile, as we do not have that role and have never recruited for it. No worries! It happens more often than you would think!
Thanks!
