OpenFive interview questions

The interview process for the SDET Automation Testing role was a smooth and friendly experience. I applied for the position through a referral and was shortlisted for the next steps after clearing the Online Assessment (OA) exam. The process consisted of two rounds: an HR round and a technical interview. The HR round was a general screening where they assessed my background, interest in the role, and overall fit for the company. The conversation was relaxed and focused on understanding my career aspirations and compatibility with the organization. The technical interview was detailed yet supportive. It began with questions on Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), where I was asked to solve three to four problems using Java. I was required to code live on an online compiler and produce the results. The interviewer also asked about my resume, particularly focusing on my projects. She inquired about how I handled the backend and frontend, how I maintained the connection between the two, and the challenges I faced. Additionally, she tested my knowledge of testing concepts and methodologies, asking me to explain the types of testing I knew and how I would approach testing a webpage she shared during the interview. There were also questions about Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts like polymorphism and encapsulation, along with some SQL queries, which I had to write and execute on a compiler. The interview was interactive and engaging. While the questions were moderately challenging, the interviewer’s friendly approach made it a great learning experience. Overall, it was a positive and well-structured interview process.

Its not as easy as I thought. Starting from my introduction to the conclusion of my interview, I answered all the questions he asked. Only two questions I was not so confident and I mentioned it also. Finally I cracked the interview and got selected
