I applied online. I interviewed at OpenPayd (London, England) in Apr 2026
Interview
It followed a normal process to begin with, I had an initial screening call and was then asked to complete a task in 24 hours in which if the hiring team liked there would be a formal interview to present it which was okay. Got through to the first interview to present and was continually interrupted with questions that were frankly irrelevant to the actual task they had asked me to do while going through which didn’t allow for chronological flow of the presentation and threw off everything. They also added tasks for the role that they expected to see demonstrated in the task that was way more than the job description that was presented and it felt like they were looking for a unicorn candidate to do all this extra stuff that wasn’t specified in the description and it makes sense as to why they have been reposting the role for months and can’t find anyone because the combination of skills what they want in one person is very unlikely. The whole thing and company just seem off.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at OpenPayd (Sofia, Sofia (city)) in Apr 2026
Interview
The interview process was long but very informative and well structured. At first we had a meeting to talk about the company and I had a chance to introduce myself. Consecutively, there was a meeting with management. Then there was a meeting in person, where I was able to present the task that was given. And lastly I had a meeting with my direct manager, as I applied for a different position at first, but was later chosen for the aforementioned one.

Question 1
What stuck with me was the question if I think that I will fit in the new position, given the fact that while I hade semi-relevant experience in a previous position, it was a little different than the one I currently hold.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at OpenPayd (London, England) in Jan 2026
Interview
The Interview process was smooth, first you would have an online interview then if you progressed to the next stage it would then be in person interview. The interview process was professional and welcoming, which made me feel comfortable.
