I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Opendoor
Interview
Started with a standard recruiter screen, then 1:1 with the hiring manager. Then I was asked to complete a take home project related to the OpenDoor business. They then reviewed my submission and invited me to do their onsite round which was 5 interviews + presentation/discussion of the project.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you didn't agree with your partners - how did you handle it?
The interview process was very long, and seemed like it could have been shorter. It’s also about three different interviews. First interview let’s call it screening, not terrible about 45 min. Then there is a follow up that’s about 3 hours.

Question 1
How do you see yourself fitting in with the company.
Two phone interviews with Completely different outcomes. One of the managers led me to believe I was going to an offer. The other was not receptive at all. It’s all part of the process and I do not hold any grudges against them.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Opendoor (Dallas, TX) in Nov 2022
Interview
Interview 1 with recruiter from opendoor. Then 4 separate 30 min interviews via teams with hiring manager from all regions of the U.S.A. Expect them to show up late and unprepared for you.
