I was referred for the role by one of their senior leadership members. The recruiter asked me (over email) what my salary expectations were and then ghosted me, not even offering a phone screen to offer more context and background about what the role entails.

Interview
This was a stage one interview for a freelance contract. Was a very casual, chatty interview. Interviewer explained the role in more detail, discussed salary, asked about my previous work experience. Only took about 15-20 minutes
General chats around some specific questions, both technical and non-technical. There was an initial recruiter screening, a zoom call with leadership, and a technical interviews with senior developers, which was mostly chatting
