I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Optiver (Amsterdam) in Mar 2021
Interview
The interview started with an email with link to a set of Hacker Rank questions, followed by a HR conversation and then a 1-1 with a development manager. Hacker Rank exercise had 48 hour limit but is not times.

Question 1
The Hacker Rank link had 10 questions with a mix of basic conceptual questions and programming exercises that can be mostly considered Easy and at the most of Medium difficulty. The HR interview was usual stuff about my experience and some personality and management questions. The 1-1 technical interview with one that seemed to a development manager was to go over my Hackerrank answers and discuss improvements. I had scored over 90 out of 100 in the test. So, the improvement discussion was quick and satisfactory. Then the interveiwer jumped to "networking concepts". I do not have networking anywhere in my resume. The job description too did not talk about networking concepts. I get an email from someone in HR after about 30 mins that they cannot proceed further because my networking knowledge is not at the level they expect. Go figure!!!!
A bit anxiety inducing, there were two developers observing and asking questions. Real-time problem solving required, conducted on Hacker Rank virtually, video and mic enabled - quite nervewracking to say the least
I had one round, which was an online HackerRank test. I wasn’t able to pass all the test cases, and as a result, I did not progress to the next stage of the process.
A lot of interviews. Started off with a call, then some online tests. Then a technical interview. Then a live coding interview along with a architecture interview. Last step would have been final day interview but I did not get that far.
