I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Optoro in Jul 2022
Interview
Recruiter screen, hiring manager screen, onsite loops (including take home presentation) , C-suite interview. Interview back and forth went on for months. First recruiter was great the second was not. Rounds kept being added after I had expected to have completed the interview rounds. Did not accept due to some red flags with the hiring manager and recruiter- saw some employee reviews after the fact that confirmed that I dodged a bullet

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Optoro
Interview
HR phone call, take-home assessment, PM video call. In general, all nice people. Did not provide much feedback on how to improve for future interviews other than vague culture fit commentary.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Optoro (Washington, DC) in Mar 2021
Interview
It was a super straightforward process. A phone screen with HR and the hiring manager and then video interviews. 2 phases of video interviews - 1 with the team and 1 with executive level (they called it the "executive review") The whole process took a couple of weeks and I felt very well informed the entire time of the process. The executive review stage did feel a bit over the top. Overall, felt great about the company, but declined because I didn't feel like the hiring manager was a great fit for me. Definitely a positive experience!
