I had an initial phone screening with a recruiter. Conversation went well and at the end of the screening, I asked her about other opportunities at the company only for her to disclose that they posted the same job with different titles to see how many applicants they could get. I think companies should be fined for things like this especially in this job market where people are applying for multiple roles within one company. Its definitely a red flag in my opinion and I'm honestly happy I wasn't selected to move forward.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Orchard (New York, NY) in Jul 2026
Interview
I had an initial phone screen for the role. I felt the conversation went really well despite being nervous. At the end I mentioned if not chosen for this particular role I applied for other positions and would love to be considered for those and the recruiter told me the other roles I applied for were basically the same as the one I was currently interviewing for they just changed the titles to see how many applicants they could get. In this market I don't think companies should do that because its messing with people's emotions and giving applicants a false sense of hope.

I applied online. I interviewed at Orchard (Atlanta, GA)
Interview
It was pretty easy overall and all via zoom. Several parts where you met with peers, managers, and more, but overall not too bad. No more than 30 minutes a piece.
