HR recruiter, followed by multiple other individual interviews
Many situational questions and “give me an example of when…” Each interviewer was reading a list of suggested interview questions. Each interview was 30 minutes to an hour, all via video calls.

Question 1
Describe a situation in which you had to convince people to do something a certain way
Great interview process with engaged employees. As a new company, they strive to capture employee concerns and reflect those in the workload management and benefits process. The interview process included employees from various teams to provide a comprehensive outlook in how they engage and how interactive the entire process is for prospective employees.

Question 1
How did your previous job prepare you for this role?
I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Organon (Jersey City, NJ) in May 2022
Interview
I was contacted by the recruiter 1-2 weeks after submitting my application and had a 30 min screening call (as per the norm). I was told the next step would be a 30 min call with the hiring manager in 1-2 weeks to be followed with a panel interview - all via videoconference. Instead, I received a Teams invitation to a three person panel interview for an hour. The interview itself was great. I enjoyed the conversation and got a lot of positive feedback that made me excited about the prospect of joining Organon. At the conclusion of the call, the hiring manager said they'd get back to me in no more than two weeks. A few days later I received an email from their HR system requesting that I complete an online form with information not included in the application. I thought this was a positive sign, and I logged in and submitted it immediately. But this is where things turned bad...
After two weeks with no call or email, I reached out to the HR representative and was told that the hiring manager was still finalized things. A day or two later, I saw the job reposted on LinkedIn and on the Organon website. This posting lasted one full week. Two weeks turned to six weeks, and still nothing. So I reached back out to HR. I got exactly the same answer, except this time I was told a decision was likely to be communicated by the end of the week. Two weeks later I got the "thanks, but no thanks" email from the hiring manager. My excitement about the job and the company in the beginning of the process has completely reversed, and I feel like I dodged a bullet. Overall, a very unsatisfying and negative experience with Organon.

Question 1
How would you manage timely delivery of a project when participants work in different areas with differing priorities?
What is your management style?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Organon
Interview
Applied online, and the recruiter kept trying to reach me in LinkedIn taking 2-3 days to respond. I didn't even get the chance to speak with them since after the 2nd attempt they stopped responding. Very unprofessional and amateurish recruiter. I am glad I didn't waste any time talking with them. They didn't even attempt to use my e-mail.
