Interview
Was pretty good and strongly demonstrated skillset I was going to use at the job. Some questions were a bit arbitrary however and were memory based - which doesnt really reflect daily employment.
The process took 3 weeks and technical round 1 and managerial round and hr round and then salary expectations and salary discussions and project details which kind of project we are onboarding for.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Orion Innovation (Cochin) in Sept 2025
Interview
I have over 4 years of experience and recently attended a 30-minute technical interview. The interviewer, with 13+ years of experience, he asked about design patterns. I explained the patterns I’ve practically used in my projects, but he didn’t seem satisfied and ended up asking, “What’s the difference between you and a fresher you don't even know basics”
I may not be perfect, but I’ve worked on multiple live projects from scratch building things end-to-end, learning through real challenges and deadlines. It was quite a discouraging experience, but I’ll take it as a reminder to keep improving and stay confident in what I’ve genuinely built and learned.
The interview was a positive experience. The questions covered a broad range of topics, including the latest technologies. Asked both theoretical and practical questions, with a deep dive into frontend, backend, database, and cloud concepts. Additionally, there was a hands-on machine test to assess my technical skills.
