Interview
There is an initial interview with a Managing Associate. Then you get a call back for a second interview with 4 interviewers either partners or associates with the firm. Then you get invited for an interview with a sponsor company usually a client company who then does a final interview.
Screener interview, lasted 30 minutes with some small talk and a couple of behavioral questions at the end (such as “tell me about a time when”). Friendly and relaxed. Also asked about why Orrick.
My interview was conducted virtual. The interviewer I spoke with was friendly and did not ask very many behavioral questions. It felt pretty relaxed and overall I had a good experience.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Orrick (New York, NY)

One virtual screening interview with someone in the NY office was followed by a few hour block of virtual interviews with associates and partners across different offices and practice groups.
