Interview
I interviewed at Otrium in November 2021.
After 1-hour call with two Engineer Managers with a technical background, I received a technical assignment.
Figma design,
GraphQL to receive data,
custom caching implementation,
UICollectionView.
Duration: 1 day
I didn't receive any technical feedback on my implementation.
After 6 weeks I received a formal message that I didn't pass.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and insights into your experience. 8+ weeks if of course far too long for an interview process to take so please accept our apologies for drawing things out that long. We aim to provide feedback to all candidates that have gone through an interview with us as we value the time and effort taken on your part to complete the work involved. As such, we invite you to send an email through to talent@otrium.com and one of our talent acquisition team will pick this up and retrieve any interview notes and technical feedback we have recorded. We can also arrange a call to talk this through with you.
We wish you all the best in your professional career and thank you again for considering Otrium as your next work home.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Otrium in Apr 2021
Interview
The interview process was hosted by the Technical Lead and one Senior iOS Developer. The interview process was lengthy, somewhat exhausting and it took an hour for my interview.
After passing the initial interview, there will be an assignment to assess your skill and whether you can adapt to their code style. The assignment wasn't hard, it can be done in less than 5-6 hours especially if you're good at your skill.
