I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Outback Steakhouse (Williamsburg, VA) in Jul 2012
Interview
Filled out app online. Was called in a couple days for interview. Interview was short and very easy. Offered job on right away. Hostesses make 2.13 an hour plus tip share which is 1% of the sales. Not cool that they make the waiters pay hostess salaries. Manager was easy to get along with.

Question 1
Experiência , sobre vc , condução, disponibilidade
Really easy, genuine conversation, sat down with a few different managers and answered some basic questions. They are really welcoming and offer you something to drink. There is a culture there that is different (in a positive way) from other chains which speaks to their operational efficiency and dedication to hiring and retaining strong team members.

Question 1
I was interested in serving when I started as a host and I remember them asking me how long I expected to be hosting before I was ready to be moved up to serve (takeout is the first prerequisite to serving here)
I applied online. I interviewed at Outback Steakhouse (Osage Beach, MO) in Nov 2025
Interview
I was sat in the corner by a server, and told a manager would be right with me. I sat for 25 minutes and no one came to me. I decided to leave, and there was no one even in sight to tell.
