I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Oxford Instruments in May 2017
Interview
One of the worst experiences I have in a job interview, the interview consists of an initial phone assessment followed by a video interview, and finally a site on assessment Center. Each step of the process was talking ages to be performed. finally they asked to fly to UK in their site in Bristol with my own expenses to meet them.
There I found out that this is just a first part of the process and I have to fly back to UK if selected for the next phase (more expenses) . Something that was not mentioned before even the other candidates were confused .
The interview consisted of some typical Roleplay test, followed by a face to face interview that lasted 10 min with completely irrelevant questions..
On the site the team was working very hard to show how much of a good company they looked, but it was obvious that this was not the case.
Finally i got rejected because my answers to their irrelevant non technical questions were not technical enough..
Worst part was that I paid the whole trip and they have refused to pay for any travel expenses. In my opinion they are a scam, stay away!!!
