I applied through other source. I interviewed at Oxygen Cloud (Cupertino, CA) in Apr 2017
Interview
The interview process was awesome. I was greeted by the EVP and had an interview with the EVP and the CEO after. Then I went into the technical interview with two other engineers. Overall, it was a great interview, really nice people with a lot of passion for their product.

Interview
I interviewed for the inside sales representative job. The first interview was a phone interview. I answered all the questions without any problems and it went very well. They were all just general sales interview questions. The interviewer told me that I would expect to hear back from them soon.
The next day I received an email for an in-person interview for the very next day. I read over all the information on the website and was well prepared. I went into the interview and got interviewed by 4 people. 3 out of the 4 really liked me. There was one guy who interviewed me and he proceeded to tell me that I did not look like I was a salesman. I told him that I had been doing sales for a very long time and had the experience to back it up. I have experience doing cold calls, closing $50,000 orders over the phone. And he still proceeded to put me down and tell me that I did not have what it takes to be a salesman. After the interview at Oxygen I continued to apply for inside tech sales jobs and I got into a much better company. I have only worked there for 2 quarters and I am already one of the top salesman at the company.
HR never even called me back to tell me that I did not get the job, which is bad business. I even tried calling twice and left messages and got no return call. At least have the courtesy to tell someone they did not get the job.
Upper management really needs to learn how to treat people with respect, otherwise the company will not last. If upper management is putting you down in an interview then just imagine what it is like to work there.
