I applied for the position online and was promptly contacted for a phone screening by Jacob Gutierrez. Following that, I underwent a Teams Interview with the General Manager, Director of Supply Chain, and Director of HR before being scheduled for an on-site panel interview. During the panel interview, I had the opportunity to meet the Supply Chain Director, Director/VP of Human Resources, and Director of Operations. I engaged in interviews with each of them, as well as conducted a shop walk with the Director of Operations. The conversation encompassed a wide range of topics, including changes, processes, machinery, systems, and compensation. After the interview, I received a call from Jacob Gutierrez approximately two or three days later. He informed me that I was indeed the "TOP CANDIDATE" and expressed the company's interest in moving forward and onboarding would most likely be done in a week. We discussed compensation and benefits during this conversation. Jacob then requested that I complete an assessment and quiz, both of which I promptly completed on the same day. However, I did not receive any further communication from PCC until a week later when I reached out and was informed that the team was currently reviewing additional candidates. I do want to note that since this occurrence I have been contacted more than once for this EXACT POSITION with this company from external sources. I have to explain to them that I went through the process and was not given a clear answer on offer vs no offer. I hope this helps them avoid going forward with other candidates who may be treated the same way.
