Interview
I was interviewed for India office. It was unprofessional and the instrumentation interviewer lacked experience.
Unprofessional - In a video call, the interviewer’s video was off for the whole time. The interviewer did not seem to have prepared as he opened my resume and shared his screen while asking questions related to my resume. I was asked generalised questions which needed explanation but was being interrupted with a change of question after every sentence. Bad internet quality at interviewer’s side as the noise was breaking. I had to skip the questions since the voice was not clear and had already asked the interviewer to repeat the questions more than 3 times.
Lacked interview experience - The reference document indicated from which questions were asked has mistake. Few questions were wrong. Few questions were specific to the experience in a particular project. Most important, the interviewer was unable to explain the question. Rather he only repeated the same question. If not answered then the question was changed. The interviewer was unaware of some of the functions of SPI and kept repeating the question even though I had given him the write answer.
The most surprising was that NO QUESTIONS were asked about my previous company where I had gathered majority of the work experience. Rather, questions related to my current company were asked where I had spent few years which is like a bucket out of a swimming pool.
Only the HR was polite, professional and prompt in replaying the mails.
