      Project Manager Interview

      24 Apr 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at POINTR

      Interview

Had the first round with the HR which went very well according to me. The HR provided concise and detailed insights into the role, the culture and the interview process which was very helpful. The next step was a behavioral test that did not seem relevant to the job position. However, I took the test the very next day and received an automated rejection the day after with no feedback. When I asked for more feedback, there was no answer so I did not understand the cause for the rejection. Not sure, but judging this opportunity based on a behavioral test which was completely not relevant to the job position is definitely not a good approach for an interview process.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at POINTR (Boston, MA) in Jun 2026

      Interview

I went through two stages. The first was a behavioral/personality test. I passed this stage. The second stage was a video call to review the company, culture, role, and responsibilities. The interview was overall a good experience until the very end of the interview where I was informed that the position had already been filled. This left an extremely bad impression on me.

      Product Manager Interview

      16 May 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at POINTR (London, England) in May 2024

      Interview

After completing a Cognitive Ability Assessment and Personality Testing, which I was told I had performed very well on, I met with two internal recruiters. Despite having already reviewed my CV, they quickly decided not to proceed with my application. This surprised me, as I had expected to have a more in-depth conversation about my qualifications and experience, possibly with the recruiting manager. While I respect their decision, I found the process to be quite abrupt and lacking in transparency. It would have been helpful to receive clearer communication about their selection criteria and a more detailed explanation of why my application was not considered further. Overall, I would encourage Pointr to review their interviewing process to ensure that all candidates, regardless of background, receive a fair and thorough evaluation based on their skills and experience.
