I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PPG (Houston, TX) in Feb 2013
Interview
Standard interview, make sure you ask well thought out questions at the end of the interview. If you don't, forget about getting the job. They will call you, and phone screen you first, then you will go in to one of the local stores for the interview in person. I was called by HR that I got the job not long after the in person interview.
Pleasant, hiring manager was new but tried her best to answer all questions before moving from the screening process. Am still going through the process currently and curious to see what others had to say
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PPG (Flagstaff, AZ) in Jun 2018
Interview
The interview process was very professional and timely. The on-line aspects of the hire were complete, while not being exhaustive. All elements of the process were well explained and follow ups were prompt. The in-person interview was in depth with the key supervisory people directly involved.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked about my thoughts on employee development. There was also interest in my knowledge of, and reasonable commitment to, the local business community.
I applied through university. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at PPG
Interview
In-person interviews were offered on campus for interested candidates. Interviewer was a great guy and we ended up talking 20 minutes past our time just about life. Experienced issues with follow up interview due to an apparent change in regional management, which was frustrating but understandable. Eventually, was given a phone interview with new guy and he was very professional and energetic.
