The interview consists of 3 stages; PROTON Aptitude Tests and Technical Assessment (online), Panel Interview Session and a Group Assessment Centre (one full day) and lastly, dialogue session with higher management.
The online assessment is quite challenging especially for non-technical candidates as there will be 4 parts (set of questions) and one of them is all about technical. There is timeframe for each part and you have to time yourself as the application form doesn’t have timer. You can practice free aptitude test before to get a better understanding about the test.
The second stage requires creativity to solve problem which you will be given a situation and you have to work in group to give the best outcome for the situation. Other than that, there’s also individual presentation. You are not allowed to use your smartphone during this assessment. After that, you will have a lunch break and then proceed with panel interview session (1 by 1). The iv was not that hard as panel mostly asked about info that we provide in the resume and in their application form. The panel was very kind and we mostly talk in malay as he knows that I’m very nervous at that time. It was a very pleasant experience
The last stage is not that difficult actually because the question was easy but to realise you’re meeting with experienced people, that’s the hardest part which your mind can go blank
