      Risk Analyst Interview

      14 Jul 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Dublin, Dublin
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at PTSB (Dublin, Dublin) in Apr 2017

      Interview

Having applied through IrishJobs, I was called to interview witching a week. There were two people interviewing. Both were really friendly and put me at ease very quickly, I hate interviews as I get very nervous but the HR man seemed to pick up on this and took time make small talk and find common ground. It became clear that I was not the right candidate for the job which is fine, we arrived at the conclusion together, my SAS skills were not at the level required. I appreciated though that once that was identified the interview became about seeing was there somewhere my skill sets would be useful ( I'm very strong on Regs)... there was and two days later I was back in with the same HR man but different department manager. This interview actually became enjoyable (believe it or not) because I was now talking about my area of expertise. I got the job and am now working in an area I love plus once I pass my probation I can choose between an ACOI or PRMIA qualification which will be fully paid for by PTSB. Because of my experience with the process I have recommended the company to several friends, one of whom is starting next month

      Answer question

      Question 2

What environment would we need to provide you with to get the best from you and keep you happy coming to work
      Answer question

      Question 3

      Answer question

      Question 4
