They use a platform that "eliminates bias" but in the end this makes experience very weird and cold?
- Was sent by recruiter an initial 30 min form to fill in with some behavioural questions about how you work with colleagues, and what would you in x situation?
- Also had a code snippet at the end with some React code where they would ask you whats things you see wrong with the code, and you had a limit of x word count to write as many as you could
After that a short call with someone from management where you get an overview of the company.
Followed by the take at home exercise with a small app you have to build (they mention not to spend more than 3-4h and write what else you would do if you had more time)
After spending the time to do it and sending it over, you just get a templated rejection email from the platform they used to score you..but you dont get real feedback for the code you wrote, what they liked, didnt like, what you could do to improve..what they were looking for or expecting etc.. So you get not closure in the end, and you just waisted hours of your time building an app that you dont get any feedback on.
In the end you get sent a link to see how well you scored on the first form, and a radar chart with scores regarding the some general aspects of yourcode?
