The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Palo Alto Networks in May 2017
Interview
Was referred here by a ex colleague. Initially spoke to a recruiter, who setup a call with the hiring manager. After a session on coderpad with some basic Java questions, I had another coderpad session with an engineer in the team. I was informed a couple days later that my coding skills were not crisp enough.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Palo Alto Networks (Tel Aviv-Yafo) in Nov 2023
Interview
It began with an initial screening call with HR, followed by a short phone interview with the team lead. The next stage was an on-site technical interview with two team members.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
In the first round, they mainly asked about my previous experience - my responsibilities, day-to-day duties, and the types of projects I handled.
In the second round, they focused on a technical deep dive into cloud infrastructure (best practices, Kubernetes, migrations, API Gateway). The second part of that interview included coding and Git questions, which didn’t seem very relevant to the actual day-to-day work
